We see integrated blinds everywhere – but often we don’t feel they are feasible or affordable for our home or office.

At Fast Glass, we believe integrated blinds should be a chic and affordable option for everyone. So what are they and what does fitting entail?

The process involves sealing the venetian-style blinds into the double glazing, meaning they do not require cleaning and are protected from potential damage which so often occurs with these type of blinds, especially with daily use. What’s more, they are incredibly versatile – they are available in a wide choice of colours and can be fitted into any vertical door, even sliding door systems. If you already have windows or doors and you wish you had integrated blinds, don’t worry! If they have a 20mm cavity we can simply fit the blinds into existing frames.

The blinds can be operated electronically or manually by hand-cord, the choice is yours.

Here’s the clever part: the blinds are manufactured using 12.5mm slats, which can be raised, lowered and tilted. This is achieved using a rotational magnetic transmission through the glass via a continuous cord loop that operates the external magnetic dive, thus guaranteeing the unit’s hermetic seal.
